Readmission procedure

The readmission of persons at the University to continue their studies shall be carried out in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 273-FZ dated 29.12.2012 "On Education in the Russian Federation", the University Charter and the Regulations on the procedure of expulsion of students and reinstatement to the number of students. Readmission shall be carried out twice a year during summer or winter holidays upon the application of the person applying for reinstatement or his/her legal representative to the Rector of the University.

Documents for readmission request

In the readmission request you must indicate:

  • The purpose of readmission to the university (for training / for passing the State final examination) with an indication of the educational program, faculty, year of study, forms and fundamentals of education;
  • Information about training before the expulsion of a person from the university;
  • The reason for the student expulsion.

The request should be accompanied by:

  • A copy of the passport.
  • The original and a copy of documents on the previous education or a period of study (an academic certificate).
    Alternatively, applicant may state that he/she did not requested the documents listed above and they are stored at the University.

Deadlines to apply for readmission

For continuing studies:

  • from May 10 to June 15 - for reinstatement with the purpose of studying at the University in the autumn semester of the next academic year
  • from December 10 to January 15 - for reinstatement with the purpose of study at the University in the spring semester of the next academic year

For passing the final state certification:

  • from May 10 to June 1 - upon reinstatement with the purpose of passing the state final certification after the end of the spring semester of the academic year
  • from December 1 to December 20 - upon reinstatement for passing the state final certification after completing the fall semester of the academic year

Readmission procedure

  • The readmission procedure is free of charge.
  • The decision on reinstatement is taken by the University's Reinstatement Commission. The composition of the commission shall be approved by the Rector's order. The Commission's decision on the person's reinstatement shall be formalised by the Rector's order within 10 calendar days after the decision is made, but no later than 5 calendar days after the beginning of the next academic term. Reinstatement to continue studies at the University shall be carried out from the beginning of the academic term of the respective academic year.
  • The order to reinstate the student to study on a fee-paying basis is preceded by the signing of the relevant agreement on the provision of paid educational services and the submission of payment documents by the customer confirming the payment of tuition fees.
  • When a person who previously studied at the University under a tuition fee agreement with natural and/or legal persons is reinstated, a new tuition fee agreement shall be concluded under the new conditions.
  • The order for reinstatement to another (recommended by the commission) course, educational programme, form of study (full-time, part-time) shall be issued only with the written consent of the person applying for reinstatement by writing a personal statement.
  • Reinstatement to further studies in the case of a difference in curriculum shall only take place after the student has been informed in writing, expressing consent, of the individual plan for eliminating the academic difference.
  • Persons reinstated to study at the University must submit a standard health certificate to the dean's office by the beginning of the academic year (by 1st September).
